Before you connect
Use the Google account that owns the calendar you actually manage week to week. Decide in advance which calendar should block availability and which calendar should receive new bookings.
- Keep only one primary calendar selected for conflict checking
- Remove old test calendars from the plan before connecting
Connect and choose the right calendars
In Calendar & Booking settings, open Calendar Sync and start the Google connection flow. After Google returns you to HeyPond, pick the calendars you want to read for conflicts and write bookings into, then save.
- Approve Google access with the same account you use for scheduling
- Double-check the selected write-back calendar before saving
Run a quick sanity check
Create a test event on Google Calendar and confirm the same slot disappears from your public booking flow. Then create a test booking and make sure it lands on the write-back calendar you selected.
