Why a Domain Inbox Is Not Verified

Check the mailbox connection, alias setup, and DNS details that usually stop an outreach inbox from reaching a verified state.

Separate domain verification from inbox readiness

A verified sending domain is not the same thing as a verified inbox. The DNS can be correct while the mailbox connection, Gmail alias, or sender setup is still incomplete.

Check the common blockers first

Review the connected mailbox, sender alias, and pending DNS items shown in settings. The most common blockers are an alias that has not been added in Gmail, an inbox that never finished connecting, or a copied DNS record with a subtle typo.

  • Confirm the exact inbox address matches the connected mailbox
  • Make sure the Gmail send-as alias exists if you use Gmail
  • Remove duplicate DNS records for the same host

Retest one change at a time

Fix the most obvious issue, rerun verification, and then move to the next item if it still fails. That makes it much easier to see what actually resolved the problem.
